DENTAL

The following is a list of potentially available resources for those who do not have medical insurance.

Community Family Health Center
This health center offers both medical and dental services

although the primary focus is health care. The Center offers only

preventative dental services like cleaning and x-rays and do

not provide restorative work. Fees are assessed on a sliding

scale which means that the cost is determined by your income.

Community Dental Center
Full service dental office. Partial subsidy available to Washtenaw

County residents in need.

Medication Assistance Programs:

Most pharmaceutical companies offer supplies of their medications to qualified uninsured patients. Click here to access the list of available medications and their criteria for eligibility. For some of the medications the available application forms are also provided. Others require original application forms available only by direct request.

Treatment Planner:
For those professionals in the mental health field, this page is the ultimate guideline for how to formulate treatment plans as required in most all insurance and managed care companies. Finally there is help for all those who have simply stared at those forms with emptiness few in other fields could understand.

Hope Dental Clinic
Nonprofit, interdenominational Christian organization staffed by

volunteers provides mostly preventative and restorative dental

work for low-income persons who have NO insurance and

ARE NOT on Medicaid.

Washtenaw Children's Dental Clinic
This clinic offers very low cost dental care services for low-income eligible children who do not have dental insurance coverage. The clinic is staffed entirely by dentists who volunteer their time and is open only during the

school year.

Dental work done by students who are closely supervised by faculty

members. Fees are generally considerably lower than private dentists.
