The Justice Project Outreach Team (JPORT) is a Washtenaw County program, that provides supports to individuals who are involved with the justice system and need mental health assistance, both in the jail and in the community.  JPORT uses a Sequential Intercept Model for engagement and treatment.

 

MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to engage and treat mentally ill community members, supporting their individual recovery and stability.

JPORT provides jail diversion, ongoing psychiatric services, including assessments, consultation, and medical management in the jail and in the community to justice-involved individuals who need mental health assistance.

VISION:

Our vision is to promote social and legal equality for community members with a mental illness.
